The 2018 Ford Taurus is more aerodynamically efficient than crossovers, is easy to handle, and provides a serene and composed ride.Â
The Taurus is powered by a 3.5L EcoBoost engine (producing 288 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque) and intelligent all-wheel drive that improves traction and handling. The V6 is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission and produces decent power but is among the slowest in the full-size category.
The 2018 Taurus comes in four trim levels: the SE, SEL, Limited and SHO. Standard features of the sedan include Bluetooth and a CD stereo system, the Sync 3 voice command system, a rearview camera, automatic headlights, and rear-seat climate control vents. As expected, the upper trim models have more luxury features.
The mid-size 4-door sedan also comes with a number of new features for safety and convenience. Active park assist aid with parallel parking, an adaptive cruise control, a tilt-telescopic steering wheel, blind-spot monitoring system, forward collision warning with brake support, and lane keeping system to stop lane drift are some of the notable features.
